Abstract

Electro-optic side-chain polymers have been prepared via the Huisgen-reaction using an azide modified poly(methacrylate), an alkyne-terminated chromophore and adamantyl groups. The details of the polymer synthesis and measurement of the electro-optic properties are discussed. The elecrto-optic properties were measured by using the Teng-Man reflection technique for the poled thin films.
