Abstract

The physiological responses of somatosensory stimulation are explored by using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and magnetoencephalogram (MEG). Characteristics of fMRI and MEG are compared. By determining the effect of the electrical stimulation intensity to the right thumb using both techniques, the relationship between neural activity and the hemodynamic response is clarified.
