A permeable metal window system is one of the most effective recovery methods of tritium from a blanket or a coolant system in a fuel cycle of a D-T fusion reactor. In the design of the metal window system various mass transfer resistances in fluid and permeable materials must be taken into consideration. In this paper the contribution of the reaction resistances on permeable wall surfaces in addition to the diffusion resistances of fluid and walls are calculated for laminar or turbulent flow in a circular duct, and a correlation of the numerical results is proposed.
