Abstract
The objective of this study is to investigate failure mechanisms of impact-damaged CFRP laminates subjected to cyclic compression with different loading directions. Compression-after-impact tests and post-impact compression fatigue tests of quasiisotropic laminates were conducted with on-and off-axis loadings. The off-axis cyclic loading caused free-edge delamination independently of the impact damage.
