Abstract
Press formability of cold-rolled steel sheet with high r-value was compared with conventional steel sheet. The effect of increase in r-value on press formability for cold-rolled steel sheet was discussed. Cold-rolled steel sheets with different r-value levels were prepared and a hat channel drawing test was applied to investigate formability. Lowering of frictional coefficient was found to result in good formability. Results indicated possible decrease in deformation resistance at flange portion and increase in main stress at fracture part with increase in r-value.
