Effect of cavitation on superplastic flow of 10% zirconia-dispersed alumina

The cavitation behavior during superplastic deformation in alumina-10%zirconia was investigate. The effect on flow stress was examined by comparing the results with the proposed models. When the cavity volume fraction was low while the present relation between the cavity volume fraction and the flow stress showed agreement when obtained for a porous material.
