Abstract

Drying of three types of coals (Witbank coal, Taiheiyo coal, and Brau coal) was carried out by using supercritical carbon dioxide at 313.2 K and 14.8 MPa. Further, other adsorbent samples (wet zeolite and wet activated carbon) were adopted for comparison. Experimental results show that it is very difficult to extract water from wet zeolite but easy to extract water from wet activated carbon and coals.
