Diode-pumped mode-locked Yb:YAG ceramic laser

A diode-pumped mode-locked Yb:YAG ceramic laser was demonstrated. 551-fs pulses were obtained with an average power of 195 mW by using the SESAM. To our knowledge, this is the first mode-locked Yb:YAG ceramic laser.
