Abstract

The Power Supply Working Group, created inside the Cooperative Study Group on "Applied Simulations of Power Electronics Systems" of IEEJ, is developing practical simulation examples of power supply circuits. The simulation examples have the following key features: (1) Parameters in the simulation examples are thoughtfully set to practical values so that one can readily carry out practical simulations. (2) One can easily understand the operation of practical circuits in contrast to that of ideal counterparts. The simulation examples, which are under development, are introduced in this paper.
