Abstract

LEODEEM (Kyushu University Low Earth Orbit orbital debris environment evolution model) is being based on "particle in a box" concept. This indicates mathematics model predicting the characteristic of LEO debris environment. LEODEEM provide a mathematical description of distribution of objects in the LEO, understanding of the space debris accumulation mechanism in LEO, analysis of the effectiveness of debris mitigation measures. This paper will report the current status of LEODEEM development.
