Abstract
Recentry, we reported that Carbazole dendrimers with metal assembling phenylazomethine core hasan efficient Hole-transfer property. We synthesized azomethine-carbazole hybrid Dendrimers with a porphyrin core. The fluorescence spectrum shows that the dendron works as a light harvesting antenna. New dendrimer successfully assemble metal ion, and crosslinks with UV irradiation. EL devices were fabricated by spin coating ZnP-DPA-CbzG2, and vacuum evaporating Alq3 (tris-8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum): ITO/ZnP-DPA-CbzG2/ Alq 3/CsF/Al, where ZnP-DPA-CbzG2 acts as Hole-transporting layer (HTL), and Alq3 as Emitting Layer (EML). ZnP-DPA-CbzG2 showed efficient hole-transfer properties. The starting voltage was 3.0V(0.01 Cd/m2), and the maximum luminescence was over 6000 Cd/m2 (at 11V).
