Development of integrated tunable laser system for laser spectroscopy

Abstract

Laser systems on a chip have been developed for laser spectroscopic application. The organic laser dyes were doped into polymer matrices and optical-waveguided laser cavities were fabricated using spin-coating and lithography techniques. Novel spectroscopic application was also demonstrated using laser array chip with multiple wavelength operation.
