Abstract

We have conducted numerical researches to validate a thrust vector control system for a laser fusion rocket. Proposed system is the multi coil magnetic thrust chamber. We used the two-dimensional radiation hydrodynamics code and the three-dimensional hybrid code to calculate a laser irradiation and an interaction between magnetic fields and plasmas, respectively. We have numerically succeeded in controlling the vector of plasma flow by changing of magnetic field configurations.
