Abstract
The paper proposes a new type of photo-acoustic Raman spectroscopy (PARS) without tunable laser. The system is composed of a fixed-frequency laser and a Raman shifter filled with high-pressure gas to be detected. Detection of H2 in the atmospheric pressure is demonstrated using a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser.
