Abstract

Variance of multiple access interference (MAI) is separated into two independent variables; one is spread spectrum (SS) codes and the other is chip waveforms used in transmitter and receiver. For given SS codes, chip waveform optimization problem is formulated to minimize variance of MAI. One possible answer is provided under some assumptions.
