Abstract

A CRDS erosion sensor have been developed instead of a conventional wear test for understanding the erosion dependence on operating condition, magnetic field configuration, wall material, anode configuration. The acceleration channel developed at Kyushu University was made of aluminum, the target of CRDS sensor is aluminum. As a probe laser, a tunable diode laser with external cavity (ECDL) was used to measure the transition line of aluminum at 394.4 nm (Air).
