Abstract
A micropolar fluid model was applied to a collisional granular flow. A set of constitutive equations that were simple and natural extension of those for Newtonian fluid were adopted. The angular velocity profiles were calculated for uniform, steady flow on a slope. It was demonstrated that the micropolar model reproduced the results of numerical simulations.
