N2 - Supercontinuum light source generated from a photonic crystal fiber has been applied to coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) microscopy. Owing to an ultrabroadband spectral profile of the supercontinuum, multiplex CARS detection has been performed in the range from 825 to 3650 cm-1. We have successfully obtained CARS spectra and images of a multi-lamellar vesicle and a living yeast cell.
