N2 - A yeast two-hybrid screen of a chicken gizzard cDNA library detected the interaction of the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase type 1 with a novel subunit. Subsequent characterization established similarity (58%) to the rat liver glycogen-binding subunit. Northern analyses showed expression in a wide range of tissues.
