Abstract

In the previous report, we demonstrated high efficiency electrophosphorescence using 1, 3, 5 - triazine derivatives (TRZ) as a host material [1]. In this study, we synthesized novel aryl-substituted heterocycle compounds, 2, 4-dicarbazolo-pyridine (PYD-2) and 2, 4, 6-tricarbazolo-pyrimine (PYM-3), aiming for efficient confinement of guest triplet energy in OLEDs. We discuss on the carrier transport and EL properties of four materials based on the EL spectra.
