Abstract
This article proposes an option for both reactor and weapons-grade plutonium disposition that incorporates both aspects of the dual-track strategy. The burn and bury concepts offers an efficient means of oreduce the world plutonium inventory as well as to reduce security risks. This cradle-to-grave fuel cycle concept represents a new paradigm for a globally sustainable nuclear power.
