Abstract

A study was conducted to examine the harvesting operation in pecans and the use of a yield monitor to assign yield values to individual trees. Relative comparisons of yields could help improve grower's selection process when removing inefficient trees and help researchers assess yield differences for test treatments. A yield efficiency map of 41 trees was created to show the relative yield of trees within an orchard.
