Abstract
Annealing softening mechanisms operating in cold-worked Fe-O steels were studied at 700 and 800 °C. Primary recrystallization develops only in 0.2%O samples after cold deformation of ε≥ 70%. In samples containing 0.6%O, static recovery is the only annealing softening process irrespective of cold deformation intensity.
