Abstract

The characterization, structural and physical properties of [Cu(R-pn)]2[Ni(CN)4]2 · H2O were discussed. The x-ray analysis of the compound revealed a two-dimensional chiral structure, in which cyanide groups bridged between the NiII and CuII ions. The magnetic susceptibility data showed weak antiferromagnetic interaction between copper atoms in this complex.
