N2 - A balanced flow in an equality network is an important tool in the problem of finding the equilibrium prices in the linear Fisher market and the linear Arrow–Debreu market. In this paper, we prove that the problem of finding a balanced flow in an equality network can be reduced to the problem of finding a lexicographically optimal flow in a slightly modified network.
