Abstract
Study of the type specimens of Eleocharis cylindrica described from Texas, and E. spegazzinii, from Argentina and Paraguay, together with the peculiar characteristics that both possess an intermediate anatomy between non Kranz and Kranz-Fimbristyloid types, indicates that they belong to the same species with a disjunct area. There are notes on habitat and distribution. -from Authors
