Abstract
We reported a case of a 43-year-old female with a huge recurrent retroperitoneal myxoid liposarcoma, which could not undergo second operation because of the tumor infiltrated into neurovascular structure. So, we treated with external irradiation (Linac X-raybeam, 1.8Gy/day, 5days/week, total of 50.4Gy), and the lesion was effectively treated. Liposarcoma is regarded as a radiosensitive tumor. Especially, myxoid liposarcome is effective subtype. We reported that radiotherapy also improved local control of recurrent myxoid liposarcoma.
