N2 - Ring the changes: A 2D crystalline coordination polymer 1 is transformed reversibly into a 3D crystal 1a by dehydration. This reversible structural transformation is accompanied by a change in optical and magnetic properties. The 3D coordination framework absorbs H2O molecules but rejects common organic solvents, such as MeOH, EtOH, THF, and Me2CO. (Figure Presented)
