Abstract

Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) is a fuel cell boasting the highest power generation performance, but its energy density is low, and downsizing is a problem. On the other hand, by applying a pattern to the interface between the electrode and the electrolyte, it is possible to increase the amount of power generation per volume. In this study, imprint processing is performed on an electrode and electrolyte laminate material composed of particle dispersion resin, which is a material of SOFC, to concurrently impart a wave pattern of order of several micrometers to the electrolyte surface and the laminated interface. Since the method of controlling the interface shape at the imprint processing has not yet been established, we understand the deformation behavior of the particle dispersion resin and optimize the interface shape.
