Abstract
In this paper, we propose the theory for the broadband impedance matching circuit which connects an electrically small antenna to a semiconductor tip: they are composed of the coplanar wave-guide (CPW) transmission line resonators and Interdigital gap. For the further miniaturization of the transceiver, we designed a one-side directional planer antenna with matching circuit to connect the input and output port of a semiconductor circuit directly in the antenna backside layer for preventing influence of the emission of the antenna on semiconductor circuit. We also fabricated this antenna by using FR4 substrate and tested the s-parameters and communication lengths from a RF tag.
