Abstract
We proposed an estimation method of cooling capacity, to realize the onsite performance verification conveniently without flow rate data of air and refrigerant, on inverter-drive packaged air conditioners. In this study, to evaluate possibility of proposed estimation method, the propriety of this estimation method was inspected using experimental equipment (Cooling capacity of 2.8kW). And then estimation values of cooling capacities were evaluated by comparison with measured values. As a result, it was confirmed that logics in this method is correct in behavior of the refrigeration system characteristics, and this method could estimate the cooling capacity of refrigeration system in about 8% of the precision.
